Kesoram Rayon is exporting Rayon / Viscose Filament Yarn since 1990-91 and has achieved substantial growth in its export volumes since then. KR’s % of Exports vis-à-vis total Industry has steadily increased since 1996-97 from 10.42% to 15.11% in 1999-2000.

From 117 MT in 1993-94 (1.88% of production) the exports of KR went up to 946 MT in 1995-96 (14.84% of production) and has maintained at level of 600 MT per annum since 1998-99 i.e. around 10% of its production. This rate is higher than the average achieved by the total industry.

KR is exporting to various countries, which includes USA, KOREA, INDONESIA, HONGKONG, MOROCCO, EGYPT, SYRIA, PORTUGAL, SPAIN & BANGLADESH, etc. The Deniers that are exported includes 75, 100, 120, 150, 225, 300, 450 & 600.

The company is putting a major thrust on increasing its exports further and immediate and prompt attention is paid to all the inquiries received from the overseas buyers.

Kesoram Rayon has been exporting Kesophane since early 1970s and the company has received certificate of export recognition from Capexil several times. The export of Kesophane has been quite wide spread catering to countries like Australia, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Belgium, Brazil, Egypt, Greece, Iran, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Spain, USA.
